Special Taiko is a joint program with Triangle Taiko and City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department that is dedicated to teach, assist, and share the joy of playing Taiko with people of special needs.

2019 – Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC
Special Taiko was invited by Miyako Taiko in Washington DC to perform at the annual Cherry Blossom Festival Taiko Take-over.
2010 – Twelfth Annual Disabled Person Performance in Japan
Special Taiko was invited by the Japan Taiko Foundation to participate in the Twelfth Annual Disabled Person’s Nippon Taiko Festival in October 2010.
